Sneak peek at my finished Wifi Radio project!

May 28th, 2009 by Jeff

While I’m busy working on part ten of my series on building a wireless router-based DIY streaming internet radio, I couldn’t resist sharing a few photos of the finished project.

If you want to see the radio in person, stop by Expo Hall Booth 166 at the Maker Faire in San Mateo, CA this weekend.  I’ll be there to demonstrate the radio and answer questions!

What is great about this project is that it’s not only a geeky electronic hack with wires everywhere, it’s a real project you can actually offer to family/friends!

I missed several previous entries about this project, and I still have to watch your NOTACON talk, but those photos gave me the will to read it all :)

Thanks too for documenting your projets!

Keep up the good work, Jeff!

Wow – I thought at a quick glance that it was a generated CAD image. That is great work!

Thanks!!! It was fun to build as well, and I’m looking forward to seeing some more derivatives of this project. Lots of folks at the Maker Faire said that they would be building one when they got home!
