		<description>I have played with Nicecast on the Mac and it works well (aside from the limitations of the free trial version).  I&#039;m confident there is server software available for other platforms, but I haven&#039;t ventured outside the Mac yet.</description>

		<description>Jeff, do you ever pull up your own shoutcast server?  I&#039;m actually real interested in putting one together that doesn&#039;t use a huge computer.  I&#039;m thinking something in the neighborhood of a Gumstix computer with a USB attached drive to serve up the playlist, but for now, mine is running on my VMWare ESX server.</description>
