Wifi Radio project mention in Nuts and Volts

February 23rd, 2012 by Jeff

The March issue of Nuts and Volts features an article by Craig Lindley about how to Build Your Own Wi-Fi Internet Radio.

In the article, Craig mentions that my Wifi Radio project gave him the inspiration to build his project. Thanks for the shoutout, Craig!

    Hi Jeff.

The article in Nuts and Volts has inspired me to make a version inside this vintage radio case: http://i1151.photobucket.com/albums/o637/robamills/RadioCasefront.jpg

So far I have the router reflashed and playing streams (thanks to some info from your forum). I’m Just waiting on the amp to come in the mail so I can connect the speakers.

I plan on adding the LCD display like you did and maybe having one of the dials to change channels.

Thanks again for getting us all started.

    Rob
