Hi mightyohm,

I got new 328P, and it always have error, so I trace the PCB,
then find a trace not connect to 328P pin15, so it read/write has error.

This is my problem, because this PCB is make by me.

I just have two 328P of DIP package now, when I get new 328P, I will try it again.

I have to do it according to your step, but fuse always is 0xFF when first read. maybe these 328P are damage?

I mean I am not remove the 328p form socket, then press the button to read the fuse again.

I forgot to remove 328P form the socket, and I plug-in the USB cable,
then I saw the red led flicker a few times.

So this two 328P can't to rescue?

I have the same problem as stephane, I has burn ATmega328P 2pcs.
now can I rescue the CHIP?

The reading LFUSE/HFUSE/EFUSE value all is 0xFF.

Configuration :
- HV Rescue shield v2.1
- Sketch v212
- Arduino IDE 1.65
- Arduino UNO
- Win 7
