Streaming USB sound card input to network

I was thinking my internet radio (WL-520gU) could also make a useful baby monitor, if I could stream audio from the currently unused USB sound card input to the network (perhaps to another internet radio for playback!). Wifi radio in reverse! Has anyone done anything like this, or have a clue how it...
