I have added a USB thumb drive to the router where I installed mpd and mpc and basically any packages. Ideally if this could be ported, it could go in the USB drive as well.

Hi, Thanks for all advice! I ordered the USB2.0 EXTERNAL 7.1 AUDIO PC SOUND CARD ADAPTOR PC204-1 on Ebay at Eupix, paid $6.99 including transport and it works! Although the site claims a CM119 it has a CM 108 as far as I can see on the packaging. No problem to me as it really works!!! No alsa neede...

I have not the slightest idea, but could this new terminal app work on one of our router boxes? I would use this instead of MPD in a second.

Thank you Jeroen! Now I get it. I created the folder using the command "mkdir remotemusic". Then I typed the command: mount -t nfs 192.168.0.102:/musica /remotemusic It took a few minutes but then it returned the following error; "mount: RPC: Timed out" I read in other posts that...
