How about an on-board BFO for the Grundig FR-200 ?

Post by ki3u »

To owners of the Grundig FR-200 emergency crank-powered radio:

If you like your FR-200 then I think you would really like it a whole lot more if it had its own on-board beat-frequency oscillator (BFO).

I built a BFO into my FR-200 three years ago and it's been a worthwhile investment of the effort. Here's the write-up on it:

Anyone else put a BFO into their FR-200 ? How did you do it, and what have been the results?

I'm interested in any other modifications of the FR-200.
