A simple ballpark check of a Gaussmeter's accuracy

I describe a very simple test setup for checking the accuracy of the SJ200 Gaussmeter,
an instrument typical of those in the hundred dollars or so price range :

With today's inflation I would think yes.

It is to be remembered that this instrument responds to static, or very slowly varying fields.
If you want probe oscillating fields, say at 60 Hz, you will need a different instrument, for
example one of the series of Trifield meters, or the Cornet Model ED88T plus Electrosmog Meter.
