First and foremost, Thank you for your hard work and continued support.
My problem/question is when I power up the radio, the music station doesn't automatically start. I have to change channels for it to start the sound. Everything works as it should except this problem.
How would I go about fixing this problem? The router is the WL-520GU setup exactly as it is laid out in your instructions with no extra bells and whistles.

Just add the line to /etc/init.d/mpd at the end of the start section. In jeffs image the should already be a line like that commented out.
