Data Logging Help

Post by idoktor »

Hey! I'm looking for some help setting up my mightohm to do data logging. I've followed all the steps and I'm pretty sure my serial port is receiving data (the rxd light is flashing and text is showing up in RealTerm). I'm getting data in RealTerm but its just strings of numbers rather than text identifying the amount of radiation detected or the fast/slow identifier. Did I miss a step somewhere?

Cheers,

Can you post a screenshot of what you are seeing?

Does it help if you change the display mode to ASCII?

Yeah, I tried that. I cycled through basically all the settings. This was as good as it gets.

What USB to serial adapter are you using? Can you describe your setup?
