One of my electronics labs in college had a few of these scopes (Agilent 54600B). I can’t remember who originally showed me how to access the game, but it was a great way to show off to the undergrads. You hold down two unlabeled buttons in the System/Utility menu and the game starts up.
Alas, I don’t think my DSO1014A has such a feature…
I also played this in my undergrad! I bought my own 54600B not too long ago, and I was really sad when it didn’t have tetris. I think the game might actually be contained in the communications (GPIB)+math (FFT) add-on module.
That is entirely possible – most of the scopes in my lab class had the option to connect a plotter and store waveforms.
My HP 54645D does this, but it’s not Tetris — it’s Centipede!
54645D! Mega-zoom! We only had one of those in the lab, but I do remember Centipede. 🙂
