{"id":1682,"date":"2009-05-12T16:48:44","date_gmt":"2009-05-12T23:48:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mightyohm.com\/blog\/?p=1682"},"modified":"2015-09-26T11:11:07","modified_gmt":"2015-09-26T18:11:07","slug":"avr-eclipse-and-the-mac","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mightyohm.com\/blog\/2009\/05\/avr-eclipse-and-the-mac\/","title":{"rendered":"AVR, Eclipse and the Mac"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.micromouseonline.com\/blog\/2009\/03\/01\/avr-eclipse-mac\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.micromouseonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/03\/picture-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"424\" height=\"458\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Pete Harrison at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.micromouseonline.com\">Micromouse Online<\/a> wrote <a href=\"http:\/\/www.micromouseonline.com\/blog\/2009\/03\/01\/avr-eclipse-mac\/\">a short tutorial<\/a> about using <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eclipse.org\/\">Eclipse<\/a> to program AVRs. \u00a0 Eclipse is\u00a0 an open source <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Integrated_development_environment\">IDE<\/a> that is supported on many platforms, including OS X on the Mac.<\/p>\n<p>I have never used Eclipse myself, so I can&#8217;t vouch for how well this works, but I would like to upgrade from the command line tools I am using (part of AVRMacPack, which is now called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.obdev.at\/products\/crosspack\/index.html\">CrossPack<\/a>).\u00a0 I could use Apple&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/developer.apple.com\/TOOLS\/xcode\/\">Xcode<\/a> but last time I checked, the AVR integration in Xcode wasn&#8217;t that great.<\/p>\n<p>Is anyone using Eclipse for AVR development?
