So I could play with <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/site\/geigerbot\/\">Geiger Bot for the iPad<\/a>, of course!*<\/p>\n<p>http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/mightyohm\/6902445590\/in\/photostream<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately that&#8217;s not the background level in my lab, but a measurement of a Fiestaware plate I have in my collection of &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/mightyohm.com\/blog\/2012\/02\/feed-your-geiger-readily-available-radioactive-test-sources\/\" title=\"Feed your Geiger: Cheap and Readily Available Radioactive Test Sources\">slightly radioactive stuff<\/a>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p><em>* Not really, but it is pretty cool.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last week I went to my local Apple store and came home with a shiny new iPad.
