It’s officially event season! \u00a0I was sorting through my calendar this afternoon and I thought I’d share a few geeky hardware\/arcade\/pinball\/open source\/hackercamp events that I’m looking forward to over the next few months.<\/p>\n

April 22-25: DESIGN West<\/a>, San Jose, CA. \u00a0I’ll be there. \u00a0Joe Grand is speaking on Wednesday<\/a><\/p>\n

May 18-19: Maker Faire Bay Area<\/a>, San Mateo, CA. \u00a0I’ll be there with a booth this year (Glowy Geiger Chimes).<\/p>\n

May 17-19: Dayton Hamvention<\/a>, Dayton, OH. \u00a0I want to check out this HUGE ham radio event sometime, but my attempt to go to Dayton this year was thwarted because, yet again, it falls on the same weekend as the Maker Faire. \u00a0Maybe next year.<\/span><\/p>\n

June 2-7: MTT IMS 2013<\/a>, Seattle, WA – Expo is free on Wednesday<\/a><\/p>\n

June 7-9: Northwest Pinball and Arcade Show (NWPAS)<\/a>, Tacoma, WA. \u00a0Definitely checking out this local show this year.<\/p>\n

June 8-9: Seattle Mini Maker Faire<\/a>, Seattle, WA \u00a0(Another geek event collision, this time in Seattle.)<\/p>\n

June 22-23: ARRL<\/a> Field Day<\/a><\/p>\n

July 13-14: California Extreme (CAX)<\/a>, Santa Clara, CA. \u00a0This might be my first year at CAX, if I don’t have to cancel at the last minute like last year!<\/p>\n

July 31-Aug 4: OHM2013<\/a>,\u00a0Geestmerambacht, NL. \u00a0Deadline to submit a talk is May 1st.<\/a><\/p>\n

Sept. 6: Open Hardware Summit<\/a>, MIT (1st year held separately from the World Maker Faire!)<\/p>\n

Sept. 21-22: World Maker Faire<\/a>, Queens, NY.<\/p>\n
