Raspberry Pi and High Altitude Balloon

Hello!
I am planning on launching a high altitude balloon next month so I need to connect my Geiger counter to a raspberry pi so that it can store the radiation data.
I am fairly new to the coding world so I was wondering if anyone has done this before and if so, may I use your code as a guide?
If the code is meant for an arduino that’s ok too any source code is helpful!
