How can I adapt the HV Rescue Shield for an ATMEGA2560

Post by pkup »

Hi,

I would like to be able to reset fuses on my ATMEGA2560 Arduino R3 board?

Can any one share ideas on how this can be accomplished with the HV Rescue Shield 2?

Thanks,
Paul K.

That's an interesting idea but it sounds pretty challenging. The ATMEGA is soldered to the Arduino so it can't easily be removed for programming. You could try wiring individual signals from the Rescue Shield to the ATMEGA, but the Rescue Shield needs to cycle power to the AVR during programming, and that would be hard to do with the rest of the Arduino connected!
