Suggestion for the next version of the rescue shield....

Hi All,
It would be really nice to have a row of pin headers so that we could connect to surface mount devices mounted on a board already.

Hi Rob,
Thanks for the suggestion! Would you want the headers in addition to or in place of the DIP sockets?
Using HVPP or HVSP with a part that is already soldered to a board is a little bit tricky, since it requires applying 12V to RESET and pulsing VCC (bypass capacitors on the board would likely screw this up.)
Have you already tried wiring your SMT device to the DIP sockets to see if this actually works on your board?
