Inductor specs

Post by bratan »

Hi,

I want to build a higher voltage version with 15mH inductor. But I don't know anything else about inductor, i.e. what tolerance should it be or maximum current. Anyone knows? Also source would be great, I wasn't able to find anything thru the hole on eBay :(

Try Digi-Key, Mouser, or Farnell.

You'll need a higher voltage switching transistor if you want to go much over 400V.
