News flash –
As I mentioned on
The Amp Hour, I’ll be traveling abroad for most of December. If you’d like to order a Geiger Counter or HV Rescue Shield, make sure to place your order by next Thursday, November 30th. I’ll update the shipping status page to reflect this.
If you are interested in purchasing a Geiger counter kit and miss the deadline, no worries! You can also
purchase one from Adafruit.
What an awesome
event. Great people, great talks, and gorgeous weather made for an epic weekend in Cambridge.
My photos are up on flickr.
Also, I just finished recording a shiny new episode of
The Amp Hour, which should be online as soon as Chris finishes editing. Look for it later tonight or tomorrow on Tuesday.
The Amp Hour #43 — Audacious Arduino Arguments
Our first four-way podcast! Listen to me,
Chris, Dave, and Jeremy chat about Arduino, high altitude balloons, hackerspaces in universities, the Google ADK, and the Maker Faire Bay Area.
Skype for enabling us to actually pull this off!
Yesterday I recorded another episode of The Amp Hour, a weekly podcast about electronics (and a lot of other stuff) hosted by
Chris Gammell and Dave Jones.
This is my fourth time on the show! I also found out that
I am listed as a member of the show now. Whoohoo!
This is also the first time that Chris, Dave, and I have all been on the show together. It was awesome recording with both of those guys, and I think it was my best show yet!
Just before the show, we learned that the latest version of
Skype allows all callers to talk at the same time. Go Skype!
The Amp Hour #38 — Comical Keyzer Comes a-Callin’
I’m happy to announce that I have again been given the privilege of co-hosting
The Amp Hour, this time with Dave Jones of the EEVblog! Chris Gammell is away this week recruiting bright young engineers into slavery to join his company, so I was given the guest spot. This is my third time on the show.
If you haven’t heard of it before, The Amp Hour is “an off-the-cuff radio show and podcast for electronics enthusiasts and professionals.” I listen most every week and would recommend it to anyone who wants to hear a humorous and off-beat take on electronics engineering.
Episode 29 – DJ and Jazzy Jeff and all the rest of the episodes at The Amp Hour.
